Writing about our sensing of place brings 'place' to life. I have a particular interest in how people engage with space, as walkers, and users of cities, towns and shared environments. We have volition in creating place. Vivid exploration is the key."

Jessica has written Travel Guides for DK Books and travel features for the West Australian. Her latest book, "Walking Australian Cities" gathers contemporary notions of place to consider Australian cities and their walkability.
